Romanes Beach

Romanes Beach () is a beach on the north shore of Wohlschlag Bay just south of Harrison Bluff, on the west side of Ross Island. Mapped by a party of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (NZGSAE), 1958–59, landed there by the USS Arneb. Named by the New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee (NZ-APC) for W. Romanes, mountaineer assistant with the expedition.
